This project was about outreaching the community in order to improve access to services in two vulnerable areas: Mina and the souks of Tripoli. Our field workers carried out vulnerability assessments and provided information such as hotline numbers, hospital addresses, and referral forms in order to bridge the gap between potential beneficiaries and NGOs. Our staff also identified particularly urgent cases to refer directly to NGOs. This required a continual mapping of services to ensure all potential beneficiaries were able to access the services they were eligible for. We hope to implement this project again in the near future after its success this summer.
